Qceas has established a strong position in the international shipping market following its acquisition of Glomar Subsea in 2024. We carry out recognised in-water surveys (IWS/UWILD) and provide in-water repairs, ensuring that vessels are back in service quickly and efficiently. Our work is carried out as an Approved Service Supplier for classification societies in accordance with the IACS Unified Requirements. Qceas is certified by Lloyd’s Register, DNV, RINA and Bureau Veritas.

Inspections
and surveys

Qceas is a trusted name in shipping inspections and surveys. You receive comprehensive reports for every inspection and survey, including clear photographs, video footage as well as a detailed explanation.

.01 /In-water surveys

We perform in-water surveys (IWS/UWILD) worldwide in damage cases, supporting insurance and survey processes.

.02 /Underwater inspection

An UWILD inspection allows operators to postpone dry-docking, subject to the conditions set by the classification society and the flag state.

.03 /Ship inspections

Ship inspections for acquisitions or sales. Inspections are carried out using ROVs, video inspections or visual inspections by divers.

.04 /Interim inspections

Among other aspects, we check the condition of the hull, any marine growth and possible damage, allowing maintenance or repairs to be planned in good time.

For immediate assistance in the event of an emergency, Qceas has a diving team on standby 24/7, 365 days a year. Our expert staff are always on hand to provide quick and effective assistance.

Underwater repairs

If defects are identified during an inspection, our experienced dive team can carry out the necessary repairs immediately. We also provide a wide range of underwater repair services. Drawing on years of experience in ship repair, our work includes underwater welding, cleaning and the installation of transducers.

Glomar Subsea

In 2024, Qceas acquired Glomar Subsea. This move has significantly strengthened our knowledge and expertise within the shipping sector. We have taken both the staff and the qualifications on board, ensuring that Qceas delivers the same quality and service.

As a result of this acquisition, Qceas has opened a second location in Den Helder. Most of our shipping operations are carried out from this site, which is close to key maritime hubs.
