Yesterday the first part of the Watermolenbeek was poured (part 6 to part 9). The special thing about this concrete pour is that the underwater concrete had to be pumped over water. The borders of the residents’ gardens are right next to the workplace so there is no places for us available to work from besides the water. Above the water struts are placed to keep the quay in place. That limiteds the free height above the water. A challenging pour which Qceas has managed to bring to a satisfactory conclusion. Qceas has taken care of the entire concrete pour, preparing the pour including preparatory work, supplying the concrete pump and underwater concrete mortar and of course applying the underwater concrete. All self supported.
